Outdoor Worship at Minnehaha Falls! @ Minnehaha Falls Pavilion

Join us for worship in real life with a live band! It will be so good to be all together in one (outdoor) place. The pavilion is just down the sidewalk from Sea Salt Eatery.

All indications so far suggest that being outside is extremely safe from this virus, but we’re taking all these precautions just to be extra careful:

  • Benches will be placed with physical distance recommendations in mind.
  • The stage is 33 ft. square, leaving about 10 feet of space between band members possible.
  • No coffee or lunch will be served-feel free to bring your own!
  • The pastor and the band will be masked when not playing/preaching/communicating.
  • The place the pastor will preach from is at least 15 feet away from the nearest bench.
  • Worship will be about 45 minutes, minimizing our time together (because the presence and amount of the virus plus the amount of time you are exposed to it seems to be important.

Here are some precautions you should take if you plan to come:

  • Wear a mask. Properly. This means over your mouth and nose.
  • Make sure you are sitting a minimum of 6 feet away from people who live outside your household (or covid bubble). It is important to respect people’s space, and not force people to have to tell us to step back!
  • Greet people with a wave, a peace sign, a “namaste” greeting with your hands held together in front of you… in other words, avoid hugging, patting on the back, shaking hands, or any other kinds of touching. Sorry about how this is.
  • If you want to assure yourself of space, bring your own chair so you can put it in back or off to the side.
  • We will not have bulletins/worship menus on this day, so just come and go with the flow. (all indications are that it is hard to pick up the Corona virus from objects, but just to be safe…)
